The service

OSMS provides an on-demand information service delivered over SMS. You send a request; we send one automated reply containing a link that encodes the requested information. Use of the service constitutes acceptance of these terms.

SMS Terms

OSMS provides an SMS-based information service: you text a request to +1-877-516-6767 and receive one automated reply per request containing a link to your requested information on osms.app. Message frequency varies with your usage. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive replies is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP or contact support@osms.app for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is available on major US and Canadian carriers; coverage and deliverability are not guaranteed, and the service should not be relied upon as your sole source of safety-critical information.

Not for emergencies

The service relays public forecast data and can be wrong, late, or unavailable. Never rely on it as your sole source of safety-critical information, and never use it in place of emergency services. If you are in danger, contact emergency services by the most direct means available.

Acceptable use

Use the service only to request information for yourself. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it at volumes inconsistent with personal use. We may decline to serve requests at our discretion.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Forecast data comes from third-party public sources and is not verified by us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OSMS is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the current one. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
